Why this page?
One of the most common questions I receive is whether I have a list of items I need for my move. And the answer is yes, I do. I ran a small wishlist campaign before I moved, which supplied me with a great deal of essential items for travel, and now that I've settled, there is a different list of items that I need for the apartment. If you are a person who wants to support me in a more tangible way than donating, please take a look below.
I've included an Amazon wishlist because that's the simplest and most transferable shopping experience across borders, but please know that any of the items listed do not need to be the exact version of what I need - an alternate equivalent is just as welcome.
Additionally, gift cards to places like IKEA, bol.com, and amazon itself are incredibly useful.

This link will take you to my amazon.nl wishlist, where you will find a list of items I need for my apartment (you can log in with your usual amazon account). There is an indicator at the top of the page where you can change the language to English (EN) from Dutch (NL). You should notice all the items are listed in euros - this is good, because it means you're correctly shopping from a Dutch warehouse and will be charged local Netherlands shipping, not global shipping costs!
Amazon.nl is essentially exactly the same as the English site, so it should be a straightforward shopping experience.
However, my shipping address for packages from amazon.nl should be this:

where first name is "MYPUP SYLCA" and last is "ENHEFH." This is so the packages make it to the correct local distribution center with the organization MyPup, who delivers in bulk to our buildings every day.

If you think of it, once the transaction is complete, return to the wishlist and delete the item from the listing. Also remember to change any future amazon purchases for yourself back to your shipping address!
